Project Description:

The owners lived on the lake but weren't able to fully enjoy it. they wanted to open up and take advantage of the beauty around them with an outdoor living space.

From the main level, the house already had an open deck; but sun, weather, and insects limited its usability. We covered it with a roof system and screened it in, providing a thoroughly comfortable outdoor living area. The patio accessed from the basement had only been able to be used in good weather. With the roof over the upper deck, the patio also benefits and now has adequate covering for use in all kinds of weather.
